Navy blue heavy cotton cord holds seven of my chunky tube beads made with recycled polymer clay inclusions.

The total length is 32 inches. The cord is knotted for easy on and off over the head.

I view plastic as a semi-precious material and therefore recycle any “waste” I may create when carving, drilling and so on. For these beads, I grind those pieces into a grit that I can then work back into soft translucent clay.
